The Friends of the Library Foundation,
Inc. takes part in many fundraisers through-out the year to help the
Library out with some of the day-to-day costs that it encounters. Some
of these fundraisers include:

Book shelf Name Plates
 |
For a donation of $150, a brass name plate will be
engraved and placed on a bookshelf in the area of your choice. Name
plates can be placed on such areas as: Children's Fiction (Pre-school through 3rd grade), Lu Davis
Memorial Room, Juvenile Fiction (4th through 8th grade), Young
Adult/ Adult Fiction, and the Nonfiction Area |

Garden Walk (which is held biennially) (July 19,
2008) |

Hay Days Fun Run (which takes part the first
Saturday of every August)

Registration for the Fun Run begins at 6:45- 7:15 AM
at the Atkinson Public Library. Entry fee is $15.00. Fees include the
cost of a t-shirt. Entry forms will be available at the Atkinson
Public Library. |
